Videozone Festival 2010

STARS OF THIS FESTIVAL EDITION

The third edition of the festival of audio and visual arts Videozone is the amazing opportunity to see the fourfold world champions in DMC World DJ Championships, the DJ duet of Atom and Pfel who perform for the first time in Poland. The two artists make up a half of the C2C group, the only team that managed to win the world championship over four subsequent years. They both are widely popular in the milieu of artists that act on the interface between music and new media creating marvellous spectacles, where sound and images are produced with use of four record-players. It enables to make a difference and obtain a new quality that astonishes spectators in both British and Japanese or French music clubs or wins awards on largest rock festivals worldwide, such as in Glastonbury. During their visit to the Videozone Festival they will present some productions from their most recent show that is modestly titled VIDEO where they are able to demonstrate full range of their incredible skills and abilities. Therefore we may expect that picturesque landscapes of Sosina Lake shall be a perfect background for a fascinating show.

First and foremost, the Third Edition of the Videozone is the next national competition for the best VJ performance. The Festival that has already gain popularity with both participants and the audience shall be also the opportunity to win the following awards:

For the 3rd place during the final contest – PLN 1,000,
For the 2nd place during the final contest – PLN 2,000,
For the 1st place during the final contest – PLN 4,000
and the right to perform during the final show on the bank of Sosina Lake.

Productions submitted for the contest shall be reviewed and awarded by Polish leading performers who deal with the motion-design as well as prizewinners of previous contests. Voting via the Internet for the most attractive visual presentation is also anticipated.
